What Do we DO?

​At Cornerstone, children will enjoy a balance of indoor and outdoor free play, group activities, learning centers, and individual attention from our staff. We equip and furnish our learning centers with age-appropriate materials and curriculum. Our programs include math, phonics, beginning reading, art, music, dramatic play, science, story time, and physical play to aid in large muscle development. We highly encourage children to learn as they play.

​Enrollment for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years is based on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on availability. However, perspective parents are always welcome to fill out a waiting list form.

Infants

6 weeks to 12 months

Infants enrolled in the program adhere to their own individual schedule throughout the day. Information provided by the parents is used to plan each child's day according to his/her needs. As a result, feeding, diapering, and napping are each an integral part of the daily curriculum. Our Infant program uses the Frog Street Curriculum. Additional activities include: outdoor walks, indoor free play, finger plays, songs, large and small motor activities, and sensory experiences.

Toddlers

12 months (and walking) to 2.5 years

​Toddlers are provided with the opportunity to gain a sense of mastery over their environment through exploration and play. Creativity and freedom of choice are encouraged as toddlers of choice are encouraged as toddlers assert their independence. Highlights of the program include: hands on activities, toys displayed on low and open shelving, sand and water play, outdoor play, block area, a book corner, dramatic play, and art experiences. The toddle program uses the Frog Street curriculum.

$135.00 per week (Monday - Friday)

Preschool

2.5 to 5 years

The preschool program offers a wide variety of experiences. Through weekly themes, the children learn new concepts, allowing them to extend their play and to share individual interests and ideas. Emphasis is placed on socialization skills as children learn to play creatively and cooperatively through music and movements, Bible stories and devotions, block building, dramatic play, and art experiences. Our preschool program is designed for every child that is enrolled in CCC in the mornings. By having every child be part of the Preschool Enrichment program, we are able to prepare every child with Kindergarten readiness skills using the Abeka Christian Preschool Curriculum for success in Elementary.

$135.00 per week
​$200 a month for Preschool - Monday-Thursday- 8:15 am to 11:15 am only

School age

Kindergarten to 12 years

 Creative and recreational opportunities at CCC are designed to meet individual needs of our school age students. We offer stimulating, structured activities and guidance from teachers. CCC and USD 405 partner together to provide a bus stop -- children that attend CCC before and after school can be bused from their school to our facility.

$3.50per hour (1-6 hours)
$27.00 per day (over 6 hours)
